Who Qualifies for an Admission Application Fee Waiver

If you wish to apply but the application fee is a financial burden, you can request an application fee waiver.

A waiver will be considered for situations like, but not limited to:

You will be automatically considered for an admissions application fee waiver, and will not be required or prompted to pay an application fee when submitting your Common App if you are:

* Students who are on or requesting a visa are not eligible for a fee waiver.

Request an Extension to Pay Your Enrollment Deposit

If you have confirmed your intent to enroll but feel the $300 enrollment deposit is a financial burden, you can request an extension.

How to Apply for an Admission Application Fee Waiver

Submit documents in person at our office, by fax, mail, or email attachment via UMail account. Emailed attachments and general questions can be sent to the following email: admissions_feewaivers@utah.edu.

Once documents are received and reviewed, an application fee waiver may be granted.

Freshman Applicants

Complete the top portion of the NACAC Freshman Fee Waiver Form and have an authorized school official complete the bottom portion.

You may also submit one of the following instead of the NACAC form:

Non-freshman Applicants

Complete the NACAC Transfer Fee Waiver Form and any additional documentation to support your request, such as:
